surging swell
splashing onto the coast
falling over you
stormy sea weather
waves grow higher and whiter
rolling ships around
billows on high seas
dangerous to fishing boats
octopus thrives
tsunami danger
sea withdraws suddenly
run for your life

waves leave lines
in the fine beach sand
where turtles lay eggs
tidal waves rush in
catching you on the beach
rush for the boats
small waves on the lake
in wake of black-throated diver
looking for his mate
ripples on the lake
wind blowing from shore to shore
no water in my nose
waves are felt more
on the surface than below
diving ducks
ocean waves bigger
than little me on the coast
cannot hear my thoughts
